AORTA, version 1.0x (OLD)

On this page you can run an interactive java-applet with the computer simulation program AORTA. This model is descriped at the button of this page. Interesting is - at this moment - that the user can take a second browser and put interesting information about this model, in view, beside this applet on this page. So you can run it as described by the 'MacTHESIS philosophy'. The first figure you see shows you the way you also can handle my applet. If you don't like this kind of working you do it on your own way. Please give comments if you like this project: the java-tests and the user-philosophy.

Below you see the interactive java-applet AORTA, an model-driven computer simulation program with fantasy backgroud.

  • To start the model: press 'start' and 'continue'.
  • To stop the program (for leaving this page): press the 'stop'-button.

    Try it.

The simulation program AORTA, version 0.x (Sikken & Min, 27 febr. 1997), built with JavaTHESIS. In this prototype no interventions with parameters (as Rp and Cao as shows in the text) are possible. (That's coming.) This isn't a function display program. This is a monitoring system. It is slow but that's what we like: so students have time to think about what happens.
