Cases and Problems
(based on AORTA, version 3.3x)

build by Sikken & Min, 4 june 1997

It takes time until the first applet become visible. It depends on which computer you have. On a normal day, on a small Mac with 8 Mb workspace and a disk doubler, it takes 45 seconds. You won't see anything unless you are using a Java-enabled browser (as Netscape3.0). The applets are under construction. Therefore, sometimes - at the end of the session - your browser will crashing.

You s'll see a case and an extra button for a 'normal' version of the simulation program AORTA. So you have a patient with a 'problem' and a normal young male person without complaints. With this 'dynamical graphic' - this 'case' - you can solve problems.

Below is what you are seeing when you are working with this WEB-pages: two separeted windows: a small one with the normal healthy patient and a second one with the patient as problem:

A screendump: --- this is the button you have to click.

The patient is ill - or become ill - at a certain moment. You have to solve this 'problem'. You have to look for the right intervention and the right value...

Here you see a botton for the normal simulator of AORTA with a young, normal male person in a second window. It will comes automatically (in 10 to 20 seconds) if you press the button.
